being prompted for pin for PG content

According to the guide here for Xbox 360 parental controls, you should be able to control what is restricted by rating:

support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-parental-control

I know you mentioned it's with random episodes, but it might not be a bad idea to revisit those settings and make sure everything is set appropriately there. Perhaps some episodes are rated G while others are rated PG and so that's what's tipping off the
filter?

If everything checks out there, let's try a few other steps:

1. Let's clear cache on the console:
support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

2. Restart the console

3. Sign back in and play another episode or marathon a show and see if the prompt appears again.

of minor accounts who have family settings correctly enabled. Further, I doubt the parents discussing this are lacking " initiative and parental responsibility" if they are searching out answers to control the content being streamed on the dashboard. A parent
lacking "initiative and parental responsibility" wouldn't care in the first place what content was being displayed.





matchmcmatters - I had already placed the explicit content to blocked on my son's account but double checked this morning as once again on the main dashboard it is displaying an explicit picture of a dead girl with the heading "Rent Evil Dead: Experience
True Terror". I even checked my other settings for games (E10+ is selected), movies (PG is selected), TV ratings (TV-PG) and unrated content (blocked). I will continue to mess around with the settings... perhaps I am missing an additional setting somewhere
that is not obvious?

If you've forgotten your PIN and can't access restricted console features, follow these steps:

When you're prompted to enter your PIN on the console, enter any 6-digit combination three times.
Enter your Microsoft account password when prompted.
Select Make a new PIN.
Enter a new PIN, and then enter it again to confirm.
