being kicked off Xbox live

Every time I sign on to my live account and go to play a game it disconnects me from live and when i go to sign back in and try to go online it kicks me again but when I sign on live and already on the multiplier screen ( such as Call of Duty or Grand Theft
Auto 5) it will start to work. router works fine and never had a problem until now. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there Tenmina! I wanted to confirm if you were able to change your router to 2.4 instead of 5 Ghz. Please give that a go and let us know if it works out. If it continues not working with any wireless on your console, a repair may be required. You can

Being Kicked off of Xbox live

I am thinking that the wifi card in the Xbox is defective. I haven't been kicked off since I put the wifi adapter into the USB port. I do have my wifi network set to private and the other settings are correct. I'm using the wifi now with this laptop to respond
to this thread so I don't think the issue is with the wifi or isp. I would use an Ethernet cable but the cord would run through the middle of the kitchen and family room which doesn't work when you have a two year old. She'll either trip over it or pick it
up and run with it ha ha.

Try clearing the console's cache and then restart the console to see if that helps the issue.

Sorry, that came off a little angry, I apologize. It's just really frustrating. I was in the middle of a Happy Wars game and got kicked off. How am I supposed to play Halo4 or CoD Black Ops II online if my Xbox keeps getting kicked from the N Network Router
because of a known Microsoft Defect?

Well it is still kicking us off even with the adapter in the correct port just not as often. Does anyone know if Xbox support will help?

So what you are saying is it should run fine if I change my home network to 2.4ghz N network? Sorry. I play games on my Xbox LOL, I don't set up wireless networks often. Is there something I can do about the Xbox itself? I don't have a problem with any other
device. And it was working just fine on the G router we had set up but now with the N router it's having problems. Also I just found out that the adapter from the old xbox was plugged into the wrong port and it's working just fine now. Does anyone have an
extra one I can have for the other Xbox? HA Ha
