    I made a payment to Microsoft on 25/12/24 for gaming purposes. The payment came out of the bank. It was not a subscription, it was a one off payment. I have had an email stating I am in a negative balance with PayPal because they are trying to take that same payment again. I've attempted dispute but they say there is no suspicious activity.

    I have logged into the Xbox account, Microsoft account and PayPal account and there are no subscriptions or pending payments.

    Please could this be resolved as this is a £55 payment that I have already made

    You as a user can review the purchase history of your account and the charge and the concept will be shown there. https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments and in turn in your Microsoft account Purchase History https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/

    Unfortunately, if the charge you indicate is not shown there, Microsoft Privacy Policy cannot provide any information and you must report these charges as fraud to your bank or payer.

    Wow that sounds like a horrible experience for all !! I hope you can resolve your issue ASAP.

    These on-line platforms, account management functionality work well for "plain vanilla" transactions and/or enquiries but when there is slight divergence the "how to guidance virtual support", lack of flexibility in approach and inability to speak to a human not a robot just makes the interaction appalling.

    I am left with no option for a resolution except to call my bank and cancel my credit card, then deal with the admin that comes with that.
