Being billed for two subscriptions

I originally bought the monthly subscription for Xbox Live Gold, but decided to change it to a yearly one. It charged me the £39.99 for the yearly, but I'm still being charged £5.99 each month for the other subscription. The annoying thing is when I try
and access the Subscriptions page on my account it sends me to the 'Help us protect your account' screen over and over. No matter how many times I verify my account with the code it spits me back out there.

I tried logging on via my Xbox but it only lists my annual subscription. I am beyond confused. Anyone know how I can get past this account protection screen to look at my subscriptions? I don't want to keep being charged £5.99 for something I've already
paid for.

I turned off automatic renewal.

Earlier this month, ~two weeks ago, I logged on and turned off auto renewal payments. I was being billed $9.99/month for Xbox LIVE Gold. After I turned off auto renewal, I got an email confirming that my one month subscription would expire. Immediately after
I was certain that automatic renewal was turned off, I redeemed an Xbox LIVE Gold card that is good for 12 months of Gold. I got an email confirming that the code was successful, and that my subscription would expire at the end of the 12 month period. Two
days ago however, I was billed again for $9.99, even though I turned off auto renewal almost two weeks ago. My account status still lists my subscription as 'Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold' which doesn't expire until about this time next year, so I would
like to know why I was billed for a one month subscription.

 

XBOX LIVE PAYMENT ISSUES

My bank account was charged 4 days ago for a gold subscription, but I still dont have a Gold Subscription. What are some reasons that the bank account is being billed??
