    Being asked to purchase MInecraft Java on the account i already bought it from.


    I already migrated my Mojang account to Microsoft long ago. Microsoft suddenly doesn't recognize my account and asks me to create a new profile on the same email i migrated my account and purchase Minecraft again. I can't use my original username as well since it can detect that its already taken.

    Can I get Minecraft: Java Edition for free if I bought Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and i linked the Microsoft account?
    No. The java and bedrock edition are completely separate from eachother so if you want the java edition you will have to purchase it

    Minecraft Java Edition can be purchased from thier store page using your Microsoft Account:

    And then being accessed with the (free) Minecraft Launcher on the Microsoft Store.

    Both Windows and Java Editions are included with Xbox Game Pass for PC/Ultimate subscription.

    hi i already uninstall and reinstall using the xbox app but it still show the same on the launcher as for both minecraft dungeon and minecraft bedrock are available in my order history but for the java minecraft i bought it from mojang which have already been migrated to my current microsoft account
