    USB storage question

    I just bought a used, core xbox 360. If I borrow a friends hard drive to update my console, then use a usb for storage, will I be able to run my console fine (being able to save games, updates, use xbox live) without that harddrive, using solely the USB?

    controller not being able to update

    im trying to update my controller and every usb cable ive used it keeps showing up that the controller isnt connected when it is... any way to fix this problem?

    ive already pull battery pack and restarted console numerous of times

    We understand that there is an issue with being able to verify the security information on your 360 console.

    Our suggestion is to follow our Update all of your Microsoft account security information to update the information
    and try again on the console.

    Being able to play another game while an update is being installed has proved a great boon! And I'm with you on the lack of backwards compatibility: for that very reason I've kept my 360, although that meant finding the funds for the Xbox One was trickier.

    Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition for Xbox One & Xbox 360 disc does not work in the 360

    A dying or dead DVD optical drive on that old 360 would be the issue here, not the disc.

    The original Xbox 360 spec had a maximum DVD size for 360 titles at 6.8GB. Later in the Xbox 360 lifestyle a drive firmware update allowed all 360 consoles to read discs of 7.8GB in size. There was an isolated issue with some 360 consoles not being able
    to read later titles because of hardware faults with some earlier 360 consoles with different DVD drives.

    Regardless, if your Xbox One can read the game but the old 360 can't, the fault is with your old 360, not the game disc.
