    Being able to capitalize letters in your gamer tag name


    I spoke to many customer support people who were unable to help me with this situation, this problem seems very basic and shouldn't be hard to implant so people can do this them self's. In my name I just wanted to make a letter a capital and I was willing
    to even pay to have that one letter changed to a capital, but the system does not allow me to edit my gamer tag to make just a letter a capital nor the customer support people. I also found out even if I made a completely different gamer tag which I was going
    to do just to get my old one back so I can make it capital, but doing that wouldn't work because for some reason even if i change my gamer tag name completely it still wouldn't be available, so basically, there's no way just to make a letter a capital at all?

    If you could Please do something so if people Paid like for a new gamertag they can edit a letter in there current gamertag to make it a capital letter? that would be nice, and also this is all very basic, it seems like it would be very basic coding, I don't
    know why this isn't even allowed yet, but just so you know I won't be playing xbox anymore until this basic problem is resolved so I can change my own gamer tag name to a capital if I paid, or at least make it so if I completely re changed my gamer tag that
    same gamer tag will become available again so I can re make it, but this time with a capital.

    $10 to capitalize 2 letters on my gamer tag.

    I told the guy if you cant even reemberse me the 800 ms points im going to have to stop doing business with ms. He said that if I didnt want to spend 10 thays what I should do then. I guess thats big corporations for you do not care at all. he basically
    said doing something without charge does not even exist in his job function. I guess they woukd rather loose a customer since the first xbox than lose a $10 profit.

    I am sorry, but the only "free" tag change happens when your tag violates the COC. Yours does not. The only choice is to pay the 800 pts.

    Technically you can capitalize your gamertag, but you have to pay to change it twice. Once to something completely different, and then again so you can change it back. The system doesn't recognize things like capital letters and spaces as making a gamertag
    unique. So when you try to change it, the system shows that the gamertag is already taken because you already have it.

    Are you sure the gamer tag isn't already in use by someone else who is using a capital letter? Using capital letters is no problem.

    If it is coming up with the same message that it is taken then that means in some way that gamer tag is in use like drifterx22 said.

    The system does not see capitalization and spaces so:

    MyXomoTag

    myxomotag

    My Xomo Tag

    and any other variation no matter where you put the spaces or the capitalization would be the same gamer tag and it would not be available.

    With that amount of letters there could be probably over a million different ways to try and put it in with different spaces and capitalization.

    Also if the enforcement team at any time has decided the gamer tag to be against the code of conduct then the gamer tag would be taken out of circulation and NEVER be able to be used again.

    I see your GT as PrexZA. You can change your gamer tag once for free but before doing that maybe call support and see if they can change the capitalization of the one letter. Technically this isn't a name change, because looking up your profile as PrexzA
    still returns your account.

    it is not false advertisement captilization in cloud is does not change a name

    so you do need to change it to something else before you reenter it



    if you want to change the caps thats is USER error

    before you click enter you should review your name
