been scammed on ebay buying f1 2016 "no cd an code"

If I understand correctly, you purchased an account off Ebay that had F1 2016. Unfortunately there's nothing that anyone can do here to help you, the purchase/selling off accounts is against the Code of Conduct

Don’t engage in fraud or unauthorized transactions. For example, don't:

• Lend, transfer, sell, or otherwise provide third parties access to your accounts or Gamertags
  
• Access or attempt to access accounts that you do not own
  
• Purchase memberships, games, gift cards, account credit, or content from unauthorized parties
  
• Attempt to use or share fraudulent methods for getting memberships, games, gift cards, account credit, content, or hardware
  
• Use your account to trade services or in-game content for memberships, games, gift cards, account credit, or content
  
• Resell or redistribute any part of Xbox Live
• Impersonate another person (e.g., Microsoft staff, moderators, employees of game developers, publishers, or other Xbox partners)
  

The only thing you can do is contact Ebay to take advantage of the customer protection to say you've been scammed by the seller

12 month codes still work.

The option to buy a 12 month live sub has just been removed from buying from Microsoft directly,that's all.

I would be wary of buying from places like ebay unless it's a reputable seller & even then make sure you use paypal just in case the seller tries to scam you.

The issue here is to be resolved by Ebay. Microsoft are not responsible, since you didn't buy the code direct from them. Scammers like this are not uncommon, which is whi I always buy my subscriptions from Microsoft usiing my Xbox - no codes to mis-type,
be scammed with. Really push Ebay to get this resolved and get your money back. I hope you get it sorted - good luck!

Don't trade codes on the forums. There isn't a safety mechanism and you can get scammed. If you really don't like your code I recommend using eBay to sell the code and then buying the one you like on eBay as well. Because on eBay you have to mail out the
codes, and paypal has buyer protection I feel like it would go a lot better.

Or do a local trade. Its a bad idea to do a trade when there is no way to verify you are going to get your end of the bargain.

If this code was not a scratch off type code then it has probably already been used. People scam others all the time on ebay by selling them something that is not as advertised. If I were you I would contact Ebay and let them know about the situation and
maybe you will be able to get your money back.
