Been in bad sport in GTA Online for a year?

You've obviously been put as a bad sport for a reason so you'll just have to wait it out.

Players in GTA Online are hardly ever banned - they're put into the Bad Sport pool where people who cause trouble & turmoil are placed into so that they can irritate people just like them. People argued when GTA Online was released that some people
were irresponsibly deemed a 'Bad Sport' so Rockstar Games responded by increasing the limit on what it takes to be a bad sport.

I can assure you that you will not be placed into a Bad Sport lobby nor will you banned from GTA Online unless you do one of the following things:

• Excessively blow up other players' Personal Vehicles when in an Online Free mode.
  
• Excessively leave a job once it has started.
  
• Break the EULA set by Rockstar - this is pretty hard to do, so don't even try!
  

However, if you are a Cheater then you will be banned or placed in the bad sport pool. A cheater is someone who:

• Illegitimately earns RP or GTA$ through modding.
  
• Using any J-tag or third-party tools to alter the game.
  
• Anything which may be deemed breaking the TOS of GTA Online.

LOL 9 months. It couldnt have happened to a nicer guy. Sorry to burst your Bad sport glory bubble but there are people in those bad sports rooms that have been banned for years.

[/quote]If I remember correctly from the Q&A interview with Rockstar, people that do that or similar activities will get a bad sport stat. Others can check that stat and choose not to play with someone with a bad sport stat.

Here is the interview. Somewhere in there it says you will be "punished" if you're "too bad".

So anyone can be a ruthless player if they want but they may get a bad sport stat and or punished for it.

I agree with that. Hardcore lobby with no "bad sport" rules. Just old fashion GTA justice. I hate getting killed right out of a mission then getting my revenge by sticky bombing there custom ride only to get a bad sport hit.
