Been a month and party chat still won't work

I was suspended for a week for communication. It was fair because i did say some vulgar things. After the suspension I waited for two weeks for them to fix the party chat problem created by them. At the beginning of the third week mark I got suspended again
for the same reason, communication. This time it was for two weeks and the enforcement team wouldn't even let me apply it for review. That suspension is over and well party chat still doesn't work!! This is beyond unacceptable and honestly they owe it to us
players who are suffering from this. Also, with this being an ongoing problem, why keep suspending people? They're just adding to the amount of upset people with the problem caused by them. I'm hoping they will be able to fix it by friday.

Gold not working

paid for a years gold yesterday and has been completed on my purchase history but still won't allow me to play online or start a party chat. I have restarted the console a few times and eased the cache and still won't work. Is there anyway to fix this ?

I'm having these same issues right now. Game chat works fine but as soon as I get into any party, it won't let me switch to "Party Chat". It's like it's stuck in Game Chat & won't allow a switch over to Party Chat.

I am very sorry that you are going through this problem, with the intention of helping you I did an internal search in the Microsoft community forum and found the response from the user FatalDarkprince where he mentioned these steps that helped him solve said problem:

Plug your headphones into your controller and plug your controller into your console. Go to settings > device > accessories > update driver. Once you update the controller, you update it with the headphones, and then you should have control of the mixer. Otherwise, contact Xbox Support. I hope this helps!

While you won't be able to use Party chat across platforms, the in-game chat between your squad should work. But while the crossplay feature is still in a limited Beta on Playstation 4, we'll have to see how it works out.

I am able to join and start parties with no problems. just unable to hear anyone nor is anyone able to hear me. I see activity on the MIC icons but no sound either direction.
