"Because of your past behaviour"

The Xbox app on Windows 10 isn't letting me send messages. I haven't tried partying up or playing online yet. I have never sent an abusive message, said anything abusive in chat or been banned, and on the enforcement page I have a perfect record. I haven't
played on Live since the X360 days (must be six, maybe seven or more years?) and just bought Gears 4 yesterday to play with a friend. I am able to send messages fine via Xbox.com, so I'm thinking it must be some sort of bug with the app itself.

I was on live chat with support earlier and did everything suggested - app uninstalled and re-installed, made sure Win 10 is bang up to date, but there is no change. Has anyone encountered similar? I'd like to get it sorted to I can get online and get partied
up with my mate for some Gears.

I haven't uploaded any videos using the upload button, I have however uploaded 2 videos to my Skydrive account & removed them right afterwards since they were for quality testing. In one these videos I did swear, but it was meant to be a privat video & not
for the public or MS to look at. It was for personal use only, hence why I uploaded it to Skydrive & removed afterwards.

I then istalled Ryse & played for a few hours & watched some netflix, then I went to do a Skype chat with my friend & I got the error, at first I thought it was just an XBL issue, but found out later that night I was banned from using Kinect for recording of
anything.

I have contacted the UK support & there not aware of this error/ban & they said that they felt it should have been a 3 strikes & your out kind punishment, not just ban & not notify the user. They are also looking into this for me since my track record is emasculate
& my account status is in great condition & they agree that it was no fault of my own that "Upload & Save to Skydrive" uploads to the Communtiy site, we were both in understanding that that's what the "Upload" button was for.

Would also like to point out that there are no, tutorials or information regarding the Upload & Save to Skydrive feature, so as a new user I thought this was private & hens the name & all official videos released by MS did not state this ether. ( I did not
want it public & if I new I would have been posted there I would have removed at once/never uploaded it in the first place.)

I have been an Xbox user since the Xbox 1 right upto the Xbox One, I have 7 years of XBL under my belt & just added another 12months. I have a 100% track record & not flags or punishments of any kind ever added to my account, I feel this was a misunderstanding
& I should have been notified or at the very least the Upload Studio upload screen should have better details, as I see more & more people having this issue.

Would also like to stress, if knowing the latter would happen I would not knowingly upload something that I know 100% could jeopardise my account or my brand new £430 system.

I posted this in the suspensions & bans section of the forum & they haven't posted it. They have also removed the other thread asking the same question, so what's happening?

I saw you post in the other thread. I replied there as well. Can you using the Xbox beta app? Can you also try signing in and out? Let me know if either of those work.
