I was playing the games Overwatch and Battle field 1 by myself tonight for a couple hours because my friend that I play with is currently on vacation. I kept my mic muted all night.

During my time on overwatch, I receive a message from Xbox live. At first I think it's going to tell me that my subscription ends soon (because it does) but instead it stated the following. "Notice of enforcement action:" then provided a link to here. I
go to start a party so I can talk to my girlfriend and it says, "Your privacy settings prevent chat with some people." So then I decide to message her that my Xbox is acting up and get met with "Because of your past behavior, you can't send messages."

Again, my mic was muted and I didn't send any death threats or violent messages to anybody. If you have the power to do so, you may check your self. I'm not sure why I'm receiving these messages. Perhaps someone doesn't like me or I killed the wrong guy
in the game. How long until I can use the party/ message feature again? I can't find it anywhere on this website. Please help.

Using another machinery like the pc to bypass a console suspension is against the rules

I just recently had this happen to me as well. The reporting system on Xbox One is deeply flawed and Microsoft doesn't care.

Nice Gamertag! If you do not see any current Enforcement Actions on that page, try each of the steps on our

'Why can't I send messages?' support page. Once you verify a phone number on the account, give your Xbox One console a quick power cycle by holding the power button and try again after you boot up.

exact same. I can receive messages but I can't send any and it says the same thing.... what the heck? I just barely got 4 friends and only one messaged me my name but I can't reply because of "past behavior"? But I don't have any past behavior.....sooooo.....

So I assume the website you went to was enforcement.xbox.com ? If not, this is a website that logs all of your past and current suspensions/bans and can give you more information as well as a way to try to appeal the suspension. If the suspension is over
and the restrictions are still there, you can try deleting your profile, power cycling your console, and reloading your profile onto your Xbox. This will reset and reload the latest account settings to your console and clear out of date enforcement actions.
