  1. Because of a lot of Streaming/Broadcasting issues

    Hey my GT is Xaptwo,

I’m a IT Professional, XBox Ambassador/Insider, Windows insider on PC and Mobile Phone.

Gamer and Streamer on XBox and PC.

Because there are a lot of issues with Streaming.

I thought let me Help them out as a fellow Streamer.

I owe an old DELL XPS 15” Laptop with Core i5 and 8Gb of RAMemory.

It’s an old Gaming Laptop, with not so good Graphical Card.

Yes I know I need to update, but have no money for it, have a family to look after.

But through the Following setup, I’m able to stream on Twitch, Mixer and YouTube and connect also
    to Discord.

    I'm using
    OSB on my PC/Laptop

    OSB Streaming Software

When you have installed this, you need also

    Re-stream

    Re-stream to other
    Streaming sites

I've created also an Twitch account

    Twitch the other Streaming
    Community

    With
Re-Stream you have the ability to stream to multiple sites, where you want to upload your stream.

    I upload directly to
    Twitch, Mixer and YouTube.

You need to know little bit about
setting up your stream, with the url and the code key.

    Through
Twitch you can add multiple Add ons.

They will also be showed in Mixer.

What I see of 24/7 Streamers as we are.

    We use
Twitch and Re-Stream to stream towards other sites like Mixer.

Some of them only Stream on Mixer, and through the diverse Streaming Software, you can make your Video
Streaming feed, as awesome as you want.

You can find a tutorial about streaming with OSB on YouTube at the following link, what I found useful,
    follow the following link;

    OBS STUDIO ITSSKITZ - YouTube

    You need also the Re-Stream Tutorial, follow the following link;

What you also need to know:

I’m Connected to an GiGaBit Switch, that’s connected to the Main Modem/Router.

My Internet speed is 360 Mbps.

I need to upgrade my 250 Mbps to 360 Mbps, and there for got a New Modem of Virgin Media/UPC (Liberty
    Global)

This New Modem is very Important for Gamers.

The New Modem comes equipped with 2.5 and 5 GHz WiFi, that’s these are the New Options on Cable Network,
and are included in your Modem, so that your Modem is not giving any issues with NAT.

I had a of issues with the old Modem/Routers.

I’m also working a lot from Home for my Boss and had a lot of disconnections and lagging on my VPN
    Connection.

Because I’m using Cable Internet you need to know the background and everything of that Network before
you start Streaming or working from Home.

I’ve been working for UPC in the Netherlands as a Technical Engineer.

The Network Protocol or Software that is been used for Cable is Eurodocsis.

I’ve seen it varies from country to country in Europe.

In the Netherlands where I’m coming from we have Eurodocsis 3.1, these are internet Speeds up to 600
    Mbps.

Here in Ireland they have not yet tested those speeds, the fastest speed is 360 Mbps what you can
get with Virgin Media still UPC through Liberty Global who took over, also Ziggo in my country, there they use the name Ziggo, and UPC stopped as brand.

Cable Internet is not like Fiber Optics, where everybody has his own connection to his house from
    the hub.

No on the contrary, Cable Internet has one Big Cable running through your street, and all the houses
are getting from that same big cable.

This means when you are the further of from the HUB, all the people before you get faster Internet
and Connectivity than you at the end of the Cable.

That’s why my 250 Mbps was still not fast enough to give me the right speed and connectivity.

When you are connecting with your Laptop to Internet, it takes a lot of your Internet speed.

Let’s say the half of your Internet Pie.

10 ‘til 15 % is taken for you Phone, De other 15 ‘til 20 % is taken up by your TV.

But here is the biggest problem, what cable Companies are not mentioning.

When you have HD Channels, this needs more than 20 Mbps of your Internet speed.

    That’s why I always use
Test Your Network and Internet Speed (Speedtest) to check my speed when I have some lag.

    Conclusion:

    1.
Your Internet Speed for Gaming/Home Working needs to be constant (Fiber Optics Constant)

    2.
Your Modem/Router needs to be one what is not causing issues like NAT and so on.

    3.
Your Network needs to be setup that everybody connects to a WiFi/Router that’s not the Main Router/Modem. Other wise you are still experiencing
that you are not faster than the rest of the house, because they are connected directly to the Modem and you are connected to a Second Router.

    4.
OR if point 3 is the issue, by a Gigabit Switch what you can get for less than Euro/Dollar 50. Your Network becoming faster and your connectivity
with the Router when you use the Uplink on your Modem/Router is also faster.

    5.
Use Ethernet CAT 6 Cables to connect the Second Router to your Main Router. CAT 6 is the latest and fastest cables we have in Ethernet land.
    CAT5 versus CAT6

Hope you find this useful, let me know if you need more.

To have you going Professional as a Streamer.

You can find me on Twitch/Mixer/Discord/YouTube/Patreon as Xap2/Xaptwo.

FaceBook as 'XBox Shout Outs' and Xap2 ICT, Twitter as @steveXap2.

I'll try to be a help to all.

You can ask me anything or invite me for a Game to play.

    Happy Hunting!

    Xaptwo/Xap2

    :)

Hi, is the consoles power supply connected to a power surge protector at all, if so try connecting the power supply directly to the mains outlet bypassing the surge protector.

Also is the power supply in a well ventilated area, not resting on a carpet or other type of soft furnishing.

    Uplink and Downlink
A downlink is a connection made in the opposite direction of an uplink, either from a satellite to the ground or from an outside network into a local network.

Internet downloads, for example, travel over a downlink to the downloading device while Internet uploads travel over uplink connections.

Uplinks are commonly used in satellite telecommunications to broadcast satellite radio and television. Broadcasters transmit their signal feeds from ground stations to
the orbiting satellite, a process known as satellite uplink.

Cellular and other wireless broadband service providers also sometimes refer to the upstream communication path of their networks as uplink transmission. These
uplinks may carry text messages, Internet file uploads and other data sent through the provider network.

    Uplink Ports on Computer Networks
Some computer network hardware features uplink ports designed for plugging in
network cables. These ports allow a network to communicate with other outside networks. Uplink ports on home routers, for example, allow connecting to broadband
    modems
    and the Internet.

    Ethernet hubs,
    switches, and
routers traditionally designate one of their Ethernet ports as the uplink connection that is specially marked on the unit by
name and/or color. Home broadband routers usually label this port "WAN" or
"Internet" instead of "uplink," but the concept and function are the same.

Uplink connections can be used for

    • Connecting a broadband modem to a
      home router
      for Internet access.
    • Connecting one uplink device (router, switch, hub) to another. Plug the uplink port of one switch, for example, into the standard port of another switch to expand the network's size.
Conversely, uplink connections should generally not be used for

    • Connecting two uplink ports to each other
    • Connecting a computer to an uplink port
Note that, in modern computer networks, connections are bi-directional.
Even for connections to an uplink port, the same cable or wireless link can transfer data both from and to devices on either end rather than only "up" or "down." The terms uplink and downlink here apply to which end of the connection initiates a data transfer.

Networking professionals may point out that an Ethernet
    crossover cable
can be used for connecting a computer to an uplink port or connecting two uplink ports to each other. While technically correct, the usefulness of these types of connections are limited.

    Dual-Purpose and Shared Uplink Ports
The traditional hardware logic of an uplink port supports only network uplink devices. However, many modern home broadband routers offer a dual-purpose port instead, one that can function either as an uplink or a standard port depending on the type
    of device connected to it.

Before dual-purpose ports became popular, some older network equipment specially configured a standard port next to the uplink one and linked the two together as a pair. Specifically, the hardware logic of these products supported connections to
either the uplink port, or the standard shared port, but not both. Connecting devices to both ports of a shared port device stops the unit from functioning properly.
