Beast Quest issue - controller not working

Hi, posting here to see if anyone has a similar issue. I purchased the game Beast Quest for my son and installed it ok.

The game starts, I choose 'new game' (A), select a new game slot and then the story begins. I listen to the Wizard and then the game begins telling me to walk. But in the controller no buttons work except the Home button. If I click the Home button to go
back to the menu all buttons work, so I'm sure it's not a controller issue. Anyone with a similar issue?

Hello Marcius,

Thanks for keeping us updated. I'm sure the developers would be able to help you, or at least benefit from your report of this issue. One more thing you can try on the Xbox side of troubleshooting, is re-installing the game. Simply highlight the game and
press start, then select uninstall. You can then re-install the game from "My games and apps", or from the store.

Hello Marcius,

Thanks for coming to the forums. We recommend try
update the controller. Personally know there are no issues with the game as I been playing it for last two days. Try other games see if it does the same thing. If not may want to uninstall and reinstall the game again.

Yes, tried that a couple times, event changed the storage but no luck. Thanks again.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried last night but controller was already up to date. I wrote to the developers to try to get some help for them. Thanks again.

Tried the play gang beasts weekly quest and that not working either. Seems to be play game quests not triggering.
