    Beam Camera Not Working


    I agree with other posters that Beam will not always start. You have to try it a few times. When it does start for me, the Camera will not turn on. The toggle is selected but the camera just will not turn on in the app. My Kinect is working fine and it sees
    me and looks good when I check it out in advanced settings. There is something wrong with this app. Please help Xbox! I even paid for the 1.99 Beam app and it still won't work. I want my money back for the app.

    just talked to a support person named Zel G "its a known issue with beam, we already have a bug made for the issue it look like 45 users have reported the issue with Beam, but what troubleshooting have you done" so its being looked into and is known atleast.

    Hey there,

    Do you have streaming enabled in your Xbox One settings? Run through your
    Xbox Preferences     to ensure that everything is enabled, and try toggling the appropriate settings off and on to see if that helps resolve the issue. Additionally, give your Xbox One console a power cycle by holding the power button down until it fully powers
    down.

    Sorry to hear it. Please be sure to log in to the Beam page on your pc and link your Xbox account to your Beam account.
