Beam and Window's Edge.

Wouldn’t it be incredible if a business interested in giving customers what they actually wanted would do so by giving the consumer choices? You
know like Cable and Internet Providers’ instead of giving us great deals as long as we “bundle” something allowed us to opt out or hand pick and design our product as we the consumer would like?



Wow?



So I am older, like dinosaur old. I have hearing issues, just retired from the military in August of last year, (2016) have a lot of brain damage
so I adjust my environment to meet my needs. Like can’t see as well or get eyes to work well together so I get a larger television.



I have three old black brick X Box Consoles around the house, 4 X Box 360s and televisions for all. Used to have LAN parties for the old bricks
and loved the 360 and admit I even enjoy my PS2. Then last November started hearing rumblings the 360 might be going away early 2017 so my wife and I went out and picked up our Battlefield Edition X Box One S consoles.



Yeah I married a gamer girl…



Anyway to the point of all this… I can’t maneuver around the One as easily. I don’t want Cortana, I don’t want community or to share or watch streaming
anything. I want a basic plain Jane keep it simple X Box console. So Thursday I wake up and turn everything on and there is half of my screen dedicated, (This is a 65” LG Smart TV so a lot of screen no longer assessable) to Beam.



Beam. I will never use it, I tried to remove it along with Window’s Edge. Read online how to remove it and it looked scary… So I contacted X Box
support through their chat with an expert option and the X Box expert quit, terminated the session as he or she became flustered because BEAM was new to them as well.



So I asked to be called. Cliff called, had no idea what was going on but tried. He had me reset my console much to the chagrin of others who visit
and share profiles on my console. Guess what though...? It didn’t remove Beam or Edge. Then I get an Email saying the issue has been resolved.



No it hasn’t. Your new way to reach features and functions, you’re still taking up 32.5 inches of my screen and I will never use your feature ever.



Please stop “ENHANCING” my X Box experience. I don’t want it and should have the option to resort back to “classic” screens or menus. Or to opt-out
or in completely. I purchased your product, I am married to a gamer so I have to purchase multiples of everything the least you could do is give the consumer an ounce of credit in choosing their consoles settings and updates and functions.



Please get your lousy overbearing programs off my console or at least give me back 32 ½” of my screen back. Some of us have issues medical and induced
by years of hard living. Some are OCD but please stop treating us like we are some lab rat you can tease with things and revoke others from.



This is my last X Box Console purchase until something starts to go the way of the gamer.
