    Xbox only connecting to Xbox live with one network

    I have been using wired connection for almost 2 years to play on Xbox live and I have never had a problem with it until now. A few days ago I used my 4g mobile hotspot to connect to Xbox live because one of my family members was using my modem. And when
    I disconnected the 4g mobile hotspot from my Xbox the Xbox some how glitched and only allows my 4g mobile hotspot to connect to Xbox live and doesn't let any other type of networks to connect to Xbox live not even my wired connection doesn't want to connect
    to Xbox live anymore. When I use a network different from the mobile hotspot it takes a very long time to sign in and after a long time of attempting to sign in it gives me an Xbox live connection error message. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.

    Can't connect to the internet

    Your best bet would be to connect your xbox to your laptop using ethernet.

    Then switching on internet connection sharing on your laptop.

    Thats what i do if i need to connect my xbox to a wifi hotspot with a login page.



    While this will allow you to connect to live and download stuff there is no guarantee you will get an open nat as that is something out of your controll on wifi hotspots

    I've followed all of the troubleshooting steps that I can from the link you sent. I wasn't able to follow some of them as I'm using a mobile phone as a hotspot, not a router.

    No change.
    Hotspot connections has never been officially supported by Xbox. There're no feasible solution on how to use a mobile phone as a hotspot for your console Internet connection. It either works, or not.

    I would recommend using a 3G/4G cellular router instead. Consult with your mobile operator, to see if they have any feasible solutions.

    Teltonika has a good range of 3G/4G routers.

    Per the Xbox Support
    page    , "Note Satellite and 3G or 4G mobile connections are not recommended because you are likely to experience slow performance or lag.", which may be the cause of your issue connecting. Are you able to try the connection with something besides
    a hotspot?

    Port Forwarding did not do the trick.

    I tried connecting my XBOX to my workplace, and download speed was off the chart...

    The problem it seems is my ISP's 4G network.

    I Tried connecting my xbox to my ISP's 4G network using my mobile device as a Mobile Hotspot, and the download speed was still below 1 KBs.

    However if I did the same thing connecting my xbox to my ISP's 4G network using my mobile device as a Mobile Hotspot and connected my Mobile to VPN , it worked like a charm.

    so I'm currently trying to get my ISP to figure out what the hell is going on, with their 4G network. ( My guess is that they blocked some of the ports)

    I had some trouble with my mobile hotspot too while using 5G.

    After changing it to 4G it works fine ever since.
