BC - Rearmed 2 not showing in "Ready to Install"

As I posted earlier in this thread this will allow you to install the game; however you then are struck with a "Do you own this game or app?" message when you try to (unsuccessfully) run the game.

 

This does not work! the game installs yes, but it will tell you do you own this game or app.Still won't boot the game.

 

That was the official response over in the preview forums aside from the usual restart your console type help. I didn't post the link because you might not be able to view it anyway.

Can't even report the issue with the feedback app because that is broken for me now aswell.

 

Can't see that thread since I am not in the preview program. I imagine anything posted there has no bearing on users not in the preview program anyway.

Backwards compatibility seems to have some odd glitches. I am not as enthusiastic about the program now that stuff like this is happening. When the system does not work as expected it frustrates end users.

I guess it is time to contact tech support and at least log the issue. I doubt we will hear from anyone from official XBox support in this forum. This is a technical issue that needs to looked into I imagine.

Thank you problem fixed, i logged in and the game said installed correctly played and working great.

 

Go into the Backwards Compatible section of the XBOX ONE Store, browse all, and scroll down to find BC Rearmed. Click for price, it may look like it is going to charge you but it wont (if you get the confirm price screen - STOP) and it will add to your queue.

That worked for me, and the game is now #407 on my HDDs.

 

^That won't be necessary...they fixed it. It should show up in your ready to install area now.

 

BC Rearmed 2 is now in my 'ready to install' list on xbox one. Yay! Thanks Microsoft. Glad you were able to fix it.

 

I can confirm that the issue has been corrected. I have installed it on my Xbox One and it is working.
