BC game won't connect on XBOX ONE

I looked at the link suggestions, but since I am stuck at the download, conldn't try any of them.

I looked in settings and found no Alternate Mac Address.

I did remove and reinstall my account, but no help.

I am reluctant to clear xbox game data b/c I think some games were not played on line. Could I back up the data to a thumb drive and restore if it didn't help?

I discovered there is no NAT unless I open the port listed in the settings even though my router has UpnP enabled. Zero config is disabled. Not sure what that does. Opening the port doesn't solve the problem. I disabled UpnP and no help either.

According to your explanation and since you have tried those troubleshooting steps, I will provide with different steps that you can use on your account.

You also try those steps:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

Another step that you can try to resolve the issue, would be to remove and re-add your account. In order to do that please go to: settings> account> remove accounts> remove your account.

You could also try this troubleshooting step to clear any corrupted data from your device:

1- Go to settings on your Xbox

2- Select system

3-Select storage

4- Clear local saved games and your console will automatically restart

Note: When doing this step please make sure that you always play online so that all your data is saved to the cloud.

There won't be a BC release of BF4 as there is already a Xbox One version of the game.

It only depends wether the publisher allows the game to BC. If does you will be able to play with both. The Xbox One BC is a full Xbox 360 emulator. It won't matter if you're on a Xbox One or a 360. As far as the game is concered it will think it's running
on a 360.

Everyone will have their reasons for wanted BC on the Xbox One. Some for achievements, some to play that one game or game series that again that won't be remastered (like me - mass effect), and there are other reasons.

But I think now having BC is now a convenience for those who already have a xbox one and for those who still have the 360, it will make the transition to the Xbox one much easier as their investment of 360 games won't go to waste now.
