BC for Too Human. You owe us MS.

I certainly am capable of having a civil discussion, so let us reason together.

The question of whether or not we are "owed" is subjective. Some would say the declaration of a trilogy is equivalent to a promise and some would not. It was meant mainly as a touch of humor in the thread title because of all the grief those of us who
love TH have gone through over the last decade.

So let me try and rephrase.

To all of the Too Human fans that are out there, who defended the title, religiously met at designated times for co-op play, who were just as excited over the announcement of a Too Human trilogy as Gears of War fans were over a GOW trilogy, please lend your
support to the request for MS to make TH backwards compatible. Perhaps there is a legal roadblock, and perhaps not. Too Human is a Microsoft Studios title and those of us who own a copy of the game in disc are legal owners of the game. If it is at all possible
for Microsoft to activate the 360 recognition of the Too Human disc on the Xbox One, please join with me in asking MS to explore this ability and not simply dismiss the matter.

In the event that MS is legally unable to make TH BC then please join with me in requesting MS to develop or allow another studio to develop a new TH trilogy crafted around the story line of the original TH game. If you loved Too Human please lend your
support to this thread and in doing so make it popular enough that MS takes notice.

If you have no interest in TH or actually hate the game would please consider moving on to something else while those of us who support the game try to move our efforts forward.

Silicon Knights stole large portions of the Unreal Engine. Regardless of whether Epic didn't provide the support they promised, you still don't get to steal their stuff.

I wish you luck in getting Too Human added to the backward compatibility list, aside from that god awful unending death animation I thought the game was okay.

Sadly because of the lawsuits surrounding the game I doubt you'll ever see that happen.

Brilliant game.

So much fun launching into a mob of enemies with my dual wielding Berzerker.

Forget backwards compatible.

Complete the Trilogy.

Unfortunately chances of that are about as likely as this showing up on the BC olist.

 

I loved Too Human! Such an underrated game. Loved grinding for that last piece of armour to get the full 1k. Sadly as I have the full 1k, BC for it would be a bit pointless for me. More people need to play it though. Like Az said, if the trilogy could be
completed, I would be extremely happy!!

 

Playing co-op was brilliant as well, and I loved the fact you could swap armour and weapons between each other so if you picked up something that was useless to your class it could be useful to your mate.

Think I had three playthroughs in total. I would play it again if it was BC but wont hold my breath.

God knows why it got the flak it did.

 

I spent so much time playing this game. 5 classes each with an organic or cybernetic option meant hours of game play. The analog combat system was awesome, especially with the Bezerker. And the abilities that came from collecting and combining Runes all
made some very customizable game play. The potential of an open world inside of a campaign with the wells was a fantastic I idea as well. IMO if there was enough support for BC of TH it would at least get MS to take a look at TH again and possibly revive/remake
the trilogy. Im not sure but I think MS owns the rights to the game. Silicon Knights is definitely toast, but if they're able to maybe MS cold get Epic to redo the series or maybe get RockSteady. Once Batman Arkham Knight comes out RS might have sometime
on their hand.

But if you have a 360 at home, take some time to stop by a place that sells old video game. If you can find a TH it should only be about $5. Why not give it a try. If you like Diablo you'll probably like TH.

 

Might be easier to do a remake than BC, speaking to the legal aspect. I'm more the type to go for a remake than a BC version of any game myself, I'd definitely give a new version a try.

An excellent game, but like the others have said, BC seems very unlikely, but a remake ? Hmmm.

 

A remake is also out of the picture, as Silicon Knights no longer exist. They filed for bankruptcy last year.

 

Silicon Knights do not exist, very true, but Microsoft own the rights last time I checked, I'm sure they could make it, as long as they don't use any property belonging to others.

 

That's what I think as well. SK used portions of Epic game engine code. MS should own the rights of the game as the publisher so it might be possible for MS to ask Epic to redo the trilogy. I wouldn't mind seeing Rocksteady redo the game. They have a lot
of game cred with the Batman Arkham trilogy.
