BC for Too Human. You owe us MS.

If you don't like Too Human and don't care if its given BC the stop reading now and move along please, this thread is not for you. On the other hand if you loved the game like I did then join me in letting MS know that at the very least they owe us BC for
Too Human. We were given a game with beautiful graphics, epic soundtrack, revolutionary combat control, a story of mythical proportions and a trilogy of the series. We got all but the trilogy. I'm not naïve enough to think that MS will resurrect the TH
series, but at the very least please, please, please MS, run the title through your tools and at least let us play this wonderful game on the Xbox One. Pretty please????

Need more backwards compatible games

MS no longer take BC game requests like they used too. Luckily there are like 500 games or something that are BC.

 

Don't think they can due to the developers of too human losing a lawsuit and game being recalled so it was pulled from the marketplace. Only option to play it now is find someone with the game that can sell it to you.

TBH, I did like the game... but no... they don't "owe us" anything.

 

Game was brilliant and even better co-op. Loved it.

The recall was for unsold copies of the game, not for copies that were already bought by the players. Xbox has already said all it has to do is enable the XB1 to recognize the 360 game disc and the emulator will play the game. MS was the publisher and if
they had supported Silicon Knights there is a possibility that the suits could have been settled amicably . But EPIC won because they had deeper pockets. EPIC clearly violated the contract between them and SK. They can have my TH copy when they pry it from
my cold dead hands. And since you don't feel you were cheated out of an epic trilogy then take my advice and move along and let those of us who really loved the game plead our case.

Since the game was cancelled and unsold copies recalled, MS does not stand to profit on the BC of Too Human, they would merely be making it possible for those who legally own the Too Human game to play it on the XB1. This would fall under the Fair Use rule.
So if you really did like the game why don't you help out or shove off.

Cyclonus this is a discussion forum. We are all free to give our opinion as well as discuss what you posted.

That said, they said they were making Xbox One completely Backwards Compatible. Which most of take it as pretty much all of the Xbox 360 games library minus the Kinect 1.0 games. Perhaps Too Human will be part of that. But obviously there is some controversy
regarding Too Human. But I don't see why it wouldn't happen. But you never know.

I recommend posting your request for this cult classic on the xbox uservoice website to gather support.

They said that BC compatibility for games would be determined by many different means, not that it will be a complete BC of all 360 titles. As with the 360 BC of original Xbox games some of the titles I loved were left out, including Enclave and Oddworld:
Strangers Wrath. One of the means for determining BC they mentioned was consensus by the fans. And that is what this thread is for. Just like other threads in the General Discussion that talk about what users want in XB1, and new XB1 developments, this is
a thread for all those who love the Too Human game to voice their desire to MS for BC. And possibly gain the support of other fans who might be in the same boat with their favorite titles.

That's because they know they could never legally force people to return a game they'd already purchased. The lawsuit forced them to destroy any current content and to not be allowed
to sell it in the future.

This will work with any game and has nothing to do with whether or not TH will make a return on the BC list.

Would be nice if it was that cut-n-dried, but it very likely isn't. They knew it would be impossible to make people return the game... that could cause all kinds of counter-suits
and one big mess... so they just decided to cut their losses at that point. That doesn't mean people who still own the game and play it on the systems it plays on are doing it legally. It just means they decided not to do anything about it. Taking action to
make it playable on a new system could open up a whole new can of worms. My money says they won't bother. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

So if you really did like the game why don't you help out or shove off.

that I could care less about. I also wouldn't begin spouting legal arguments unless I was at least a copyright/trademark lawyer or more specifically a representative from the MS legal division. Are you? How does this question of Too Human BC involve you
in anyway that would justify you stepping into a thread that doesn't impact you to try and send it into a flame war? Is it because I said MS owes us TH fans. Are you a TH fan? Did you feel I spoke unfairly on your behalf? Is that what injured you to the point
of feeling the need to take action on a subject you could clearly care less about?

If so then I apologize and let it be know to MS that not every XB user feels you owe them anything. But the are some of us, but not all of us, that were very much looking forward to the TH trilogy that you promised. And we feel that if it is at all possible
and you are able to find it in your hearts to look down on us lowly owners or legally acquired copied of a XB exclusive game and show us kindness and compassion by extending BC to the title Too Human. Oh great MS, you who I free give my life, my love, my

That's possible. Its unfortunate that TH became such a controversial thing. And even if people didn't like the graphics or the combat style just the storyline itself was so epic. Norse mythology is such a great thing to explore and more so in a futuristic
cybernetic future. If MS has the legal ability to simply turn the 360 recognition on for the game I really hope they do. If not I would like to see MS at least hand the storyline and the trilogy over to their studios for development of a new TH trilogy powered
by a legal engine. If the original concept and storyline are followed I think it would be a fantastic addition to the MS exclusive library.

you took the liberty of "dumping" on my first reply, which I could consider just as uncalled for as you obviously felt that reply was. The door swings both ways. Like it or do not. Also begs the question of who actually 'feels injured' pretty easily. BTW,
saying please at the end of a quite sarcastic rant doesn't negate the negative aspect and make it all good.

As far as legal arguments go, I could ask you the same questions about legal knowledge. Unless we both were at the hearings on the subject and/or had access to the ruling,
it is speculation on both parts. I'm not a lawyer, but I hope to play one on TV some day. j/k

You'll find people on this forum step into threads that have nothing to do with them all the time. It is a discussion forum. Regardless of whether a subject has any impact at all
on someone or a lot, everyone has equal opportunity to discuss the subject.

I recall saying I did like the game. It may not impact me as much as you, but I do have an interest in it. That being said, I seriously doubt it will happen and that
is because of said lawsuit. If I find out it will become BC, that'd be great.

I think someone has already mentioned that there is another forum that would better aid you in your plea and that you should also post a request there. I'd suggest doing just that.
