BBC player not working

    BBC player not working


    For months now BBC player keeps coming up with the same message sorry BBC player isn't available right now try again later then tells you to go to www.Xbox.com/status I've been thru all that uninstalled it completely reinstalled it check the status says
    BBC player is working fine I've done everything that says on how to fix it and nothing some days I can watch BBC player other days I can't. I don't know what else to do I just want it to be fixed it never use to do it ... it only started 2 month ago and I'm
    at my whits end don't know what else to do I hope someone can help !! Please

    BBC iplayer?

    BBC iPlayer is currently being developed for the Xbox One

    "BBC iPlayer is already available to audiences on over 1,000 devices and platforms in the UK. Whilst we are working to bring BBC iPlayer to Xbox One in the future, we have no further details to share at this time." From the BBC website

    Have you tried hard resetting the Xbox?

    No I Havnt tried this yet as I don't want to wipe everything off it it's my last resort if no one knows how to help

    A hard reset doesn't wipe anything off a full factory reset does!

    To hard reset the Xbox hold the power button on front of the Xbox until it turns off then unplug it for 5-10 mins

    No I Havnt tried this yet as I don't want to wipe everything off it it's my last resort if no one knows how to help

    A hard reset doesn't wipe anything off a full factory reset does!

    To hard reset the Xbox hold the power button on front of the Xbox until it turns off then unplug it for 5-10 mins

    the only app that works on silver is BBC I player the rest you need gold for.

    @Apex Assassion: That was the case about 5 years ago. During the time when BBC first tried to add their BBC iplayer service. MS wanted ££££ but BBC said no thank you.

    Behind the scenes things got sorted. Now you get BBC, CH4 & CH5 stuff via 360.

    The problem with the ITV player is that its requires MS Silverlight to work. This app/program doesn't work on consoles and crashes a hell of alot on PC/laptops.
