    BBC Iplayer UK


    Hi, been trying to install the BBC Iplayer app on the Xbox One, but when I search for it from the Apps page, it isn't found. I've searched for a solution and some people have had to change their region from US to UK to make this happen - I'm already set
    up for the UK and the account migration page doesn't let me make any changes anyway. I've tried to contact Xbox support about it but the field where you enter your forename and surname are not editable so I can't contact anybody this way. Anyone got any ideas,
    or had a similar problem? Thanks.

    BBC iPlayer is currently being developed for the Xbox One

    "BBC iPlayer is already available to audiences on over 1,000 devices and platforms in the UK. Whilst we are working to bring BBC iPlayer to Xbox One in the future, we have no further details to share at this time." From the BBC website

    xbox live only for yanks??

    Well anyone who's outside the UK are not able to get BBC iplayer at all since they are not in the UK!

    To access the BBC iPlayer app for download on Xbox One (and 360) you must be both physically located in the United Kingdom and have a UK Xbox account. Both of these requirements are mandatory. If you live anywhere but the UK, you won't be able to use the
    app.

    Hi, thanks for the response. Yes I live in the UK. The problem was with the region, which I eventually worked out how to look at and change. Its was set to US. Changed this to UK and was then able to download the app.
