    BBC Iplayer - remote & Kinect


    The latest version of Iplayer on XBONE has removed play/pause/ff/rw functionality again for the media remote (it now only acts like a d-pad and select button) and also kinect voice commands just say "Unable to 'pause' from here". Please can these both
    be reinstated?

    Uninstall/reinstall isn't the issue, functionality has been removed by the update it seems...

    Don't mind about the kinect, don't actually have one, but the media remote pause button not working is super annoying...

    I believe the kinect isn't supported for much anymore, that's the reason they have decided to remove it.

    Hello Drakau,

    We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning the inability to use the functions intended for the Media Remote.

    Have you attempted to uninstall this Iplayer application and then install it again on your Xbox One console?

    Try doing this and let us know if this works.
