    bbc iplayer / NowTV app's not loading


    ok, firstly this is my first ever xbox, so navigating it has been a learning curve.

    I have installed the BBC Iplayer & NowTV App's, but when i highlight one of them and press button for one of them to start, the screen expands as if its loading, but within a couple of seconds it then returns to the xbox one console screen. i'm not sure
    what the issue is.

    let me tell you what i have done to eliminate any repeating

    restarted the xbox one, The Xbox is up to date.

    un-installed bbc Iplayer & re-installed (the same with NowTV)

    I have checked the internet connection (according to the xbox, the connection is good) and i know I'm getting a connection as i have been able to download updates for the games i have brought.

    I have tried a LAN & wireless connection without any difference

    i have spoken with xbox online support and it was they who said about restarting the xbox and un-installing etc, and that exhausted there fault finding capabilitys and they think it could be a problem with the app (i.e bbc Iplayers issue)

    any help with this or guidance would be gratefully received

    BBC iPlayer not loading

    Same problem here, had this problem for 3 days now, I've just reported the problem on the one, it's working gone on the 360 for me though

    BBC iPlayer not loading

    Is anyone else having this trouble? When I click on the iPlayer app the loading screen pops up for about 30 seconds and then it just closes. It just displays the iPlayer logo on a black background and then closes without loading.

    BBC iPlayer is currently being developed for the Xbox One

    Heard from who?

    Allowing SIlver users to access iPlayer goes against Microsoft's pricing structure.

    Requiring Gold for access to iPlayer goes against the BBC's pricing structure.

    There's no "fix" for this. MS isn't going to let Silvers access the streaming app. BBC isn't going to allow MS to charge for Gold to access the streaming app.

    trying a factory reset If that doesn't help, check to see if you have another device (possibly even already connected to your TV) that supports BBC iPlayer as an interim measure. And if you have a Chromecast dongle device, you can cast programmes
