Discus and support BBC iPlayer crashes since preview programme installed the latest update in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I can't watch anything. Try and stream a programme and you get 1 second of the credits before the entire app crashes. Anybody know if this is being...     BBC iPlayer crashes since preview programme installed the latest update


    I can't watch anything. Try and stream a programme and you get 1 second of the credits before the entire app crashes. Anybody know if this is being worked on?

    This is not a feature at launch, but we recognise the demand for BBC radio programmes and will be making radio available in BBC iPlayer on Xbox 360 later in the year.

    Rights agreements mean that BBC iPlayer television programmes are only available to users in the UK. However, if you have previously downloaded a programme onto your laptop or portable hard drive from BBC iPlayer while in the UK, you can
    then watch it anywhere in the world.

    It is a known issue.

    There are already a couple of threads about it in the actual February preview forums, and it is listed as a known issue in the notes for the current build.

    trying a factory reset If that doesn't help, check to see if you have another device (possibly even already connected to your TV) that supports BBC iPlayer as an interim measure. And if you have a Chromecast dongle device, you can cast programmes
