Discus and support BBC i player in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; "BBC i player is not available at this time go to www.xbox.com/status for more information." Website says status is ok.     "BBC i player is not available at this time go to www.xbox.com/status for more information." Website says status is ok. I tried the troubleshooting suggestions but get no success. Please help

    If it does comes to other countries then I'd expect is would be a subscription model.

    UK folk are required to pay a TV Tax (or the license fee as it is known) to the BBC, so we've already paid.

    I heard that the BBC are desperate to get the i player onto the xbox network but microsoft are holding back? Why? It would be fantastic to have the opportunity to watch normal tv shows. PS3 have done it come on microsoft sort it out!

    and yes i know theres sky player , i dont have sky neither do i want it

    Some sort of agreement was reached.
    BBC announced it December 5th    . There's no direct statement confirming it will be available for UK Silver Live accounts, but I recall that was the BBC's major sticking point for not allowing it earlier.

    i think if xbox wana be able to compete with other consoles in the world then making there services better is a good idea, thus adding bbc i player would be great, they only have the bbc channels on it so its not like its a big deal and is conflicting with
    sky player or anything. i personally just feel like it would be a good decision to greet this new app into the xbox world :D

    We're not there yet.



    I wonder if the deal MS struck was to bring iPlayer to XBOX Live in the USA ahead of iDevices? :) That would be pretty sweet.
