    BBC I-Player Xbox 360 Problems


    Just curious to know if the bbc I-player is currently down or if anyone else has been having issues with it lately?. For the last for days now when I boot up the I-player its just says' BBC I-player is currently unavailble. Now I know my internet, xbox and
    all the other of its apps are ok except the BBC I-player. Feedback anyone?

    This is not a feature at launch, but we recognise the demand for BBC radio programmes and will be making radio available in BBC iPlayer on Xbox 360 later in the year.

    having same trouble. its now letting me into iplayer n let me watch mock the week earlier but now i cannot get anything to play. think its bbc's end of it thats going wrong. hopfully it'll be working properly soon cos i'm missing nature doc stuff which i
    really like watching.

    ITV Player for Xbox 360

    @Apex Assassion: That was the case about 5 years ago. During the time when BBC first tried to add their BBC iplayer service. MS wanted ££££ but BBC said no thank you.

    Behind the scenes things got sorted. Now you get BBC, CH4 & CH5 stuff via 360.

    The problem with the ITV player is that its requires MS Silverlight to work. This app/program doesn't work on consoles and crashes a hell of alot on PC/laptops.
