Battlefront 2 update today 13th Dec has stopped game from working .

During the last update (Obi Wan) the game stopped working as was stuck on the loading screen , I uninstalled then re-installed the whole game (taking 2 days to download the 70gb ) to get it working .

Today I went to play and was told to update a 3gb file - this appeared to download , then the game no longer plays . I select it , the title screen appears - then I am taken back to the Xbox home page , a few seconds later a error message appears saying
'something went wrong , try again' , when doing this the same error appears.

I do not want to reinstall again - can you advise of a resolution please?

Thanks for reaching out to us in forums for this issue. Sorry to hear that since the update your Battlefront 2 isn't wanting to load. What we recommend is to try using our Xbox
One Game Freeze Solution to troubleshoot so that you're back to running and gunning in no time. It has several great troubleshooting steps available in the wizard to get you to a resolution in no time.

Thank you for keeping us updated. The failure of the update may be caused by networking issues or file corruption. We recommend clearing the local saved games before beginning the installation. This will remove all saved data from the console. As long as
the console is connected to Xbox Live, the saved data will be uploaded and downloaded from the cloud. Please make sure all saved data is uploaded to the Xbox cloud before this step is taken. We will provide steps on how to clear local saved games. Be sure
to let us know the results!

Press the Xbox button on the controller to pull up the guide
Select settings
Select System
Select Storage
Select Clear local saved games
Once the console has restarted, attempt to install the game

Thank you for replying back to us so quickly here on the forums. Unfortunately if all other troubleshooting methods have been taken I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Please let us know how that goes.
