Battlefield4 - Controller doesn't respond

I just got Battlefield 4 and played campaign while i waited for multiplayer to install, i got two levels into the campaign and thought id see if the download was done so i could jam online. i did a hard reset of my modem and turned back on my xbox after
ten minutes, once i loaded up the game it wouldn't recognise what i was doing on my controller but this was just in the game screen, i can still interact with everything else on my dash board just not the game itself, i did try join a mate in progress to see
if it was just the menu that was mucked up but even then i couldn't get a response.

I've tried updating the controller, quitting the game and launching it again, removing the disc and putting it back in and multiple resets. My next option is to re download it though i will wait just incase its a last option. If anyone else has had this problem
before and knows a solution it would be much appreciated

i start the game and can do the campaign fine while the rest of the game installs but once its fully installed i can't do anything, won't recognise my controllers input at all. i tried joining a mate in progress but same thing still couldn't press any buttons.



Ive re-installed it twice now, done hard resets and updated my controller but nothing is working.

Someone help.

 

Xbox Cod Ghosts, wont work! Anyone else?

Battlefield4 on disk, amazing. Deadrising3 on disk amazing . COD DDL just doesn't want to work. Nothing wrong with my network or hardware.
