Battlefield V and losing connection to Xbox Live

Im having an issue with disconnecting from Xbox Live only when I play Battlefield V.

I do not have this issue with any other games or apps. I can watch YouTube, watch movies and play other games for hours. with no connectivity issues.

I hop on Battlefield V and 10

minutes into my first match miraculously “you have lost connection to Xbox Live”. This is every day, almost hourly an its becoming infuriating. All the basic troubleshooting, “test your multiplayer connection” has been done and I have no issues.

packet loss 0%, Download Speed 70.10, upload speed 4.51, latency 42ms.

I connect directly to my internet provider’s modem. Ive done the hard restart of my router, hard restart of my Xbox One X and have tried several other troubleshooting techniques.

I recently upgraded to the One X and was not having these issues on my Day One Edition.

Its to the point that I am considering purchasing a new Playstation unless EA and Microsoft sort this out.

I play on Xbox One X.

Try clearing the cache. Put your finger on the start button of the console for 10 seconds until it goes out. Then wait another 30 and turn it on again. After trying this,
reinstall the game. It may work for you

Its every single day, multiple times a day.

I would appreciate if everyone would please read the original thread. Ive done all the basic and advanced troubleshooting.

- cleared cache

- reinstalled game

- hard restart of Xbox One(hold oower button 10 second for power off)

- Network checks via Xbox settings

Once again.

- I can play Battlefield 1, Batylefield 4, Red Dead Redemption, watch YouTube for hours on end with ZERO disconnects.

-I hop on Battlefield 5 and I miraculously lose connection to Xbox live within 5 to 30 minutes of starting the gamw and I keep disconnecting again and again.

- Stop playing BFV, go back to YouTube or any other game and play for hours on end with no disconnects.

check status on the link provided and you can ask for notifications when server is fixed

apparently there a few problem in the server Microsoft staff is working on the fix off this problem

There was 88 reports of outage on Battlefield servers today. Nest time you experience same issues can check the Status of the Servers here:

I know there was a service alert earlier. If you are still experiencing the issue, check with your ISP to make sure there is no type of weird blocking going on anywhere since you already reset your router.
