Battlefield: Revolution

I just had a crazy thought, what if for the next Battlefield game they took everyone back in time to the Revolutionary War. I don't think I remember anything like this being done before and there is so much to it that you could have some really killer massive
map matches going.

Just a thought, what do you guys think?

Battlefield 1 - Premium Pass

I bought Battlefield Revolution but when I play Operations, I get a message that I need to buy the premium pass. Revolution does not contain the premium pass ?

Someone can help me ?

 

I think we have so many World War games at this point, anything different would be refreshing. I like the idea myself and the only downside I can think of would be some of the game play mechanics. Canons, horses, and Ships would
be your main vehicle options. A lot melee combat mixed in with single shot guns. I'm not certain how fun "let me go reload my musket" would be. Though it would made for an interesting dynamic if they included a battle royale mode.

 

I just burst out laughing because I never even thought of the time needed to reload a musket. But that could actually add a whole new element to the game, completely crush the ability to run in and just blast away like some players do in MP, actually it
could make MP extremely skill based!

 

I think this would be a really cool idea. There is a lot they could do with the story as well and the world could be huge.

 

Honestly that sounds great or even the civil war the only issue would be the lack of weapons

 

That would be awesome! So much world history they could do a ton with, I hope they really think about it

 

You would have to include a musket loading mini game. I just don't think they style of battle would translate well to an action game. "Okay everyone, form columns" Canon loading mini games. It's doable I just don't think it would be very action packed.

Id really be interested in seeing a medival take on battefield or better yet something like feudal japan around 1600s where melee bows slings and the like still have a place but guns can be integrated

 

For medieval times Chivalry: Medieval Warfare comes to mind

For Honor comes to mind as well

 

The History Channel did a Civil war game on the 360, and it was, well, not the best game. That being said, someone with the chops like the CoD teams could do wonders. Team based cannon loading, naval combat, and cavalry charges could be awesome.

 

Team base canon loading would be a hilarious comedy of errors worth the price of admission alone lol

 

that or a deadliest warrior style game with a tier system like world of tabks but for tech/ age periods

 

Could you imagine the rage out of players if there were mechanics like cannon misfires they killed 3 or 4 players are a time standing around the cannon
