Battlefield Hardline will be 720p on X1

Would you be willing to bet money that you could correctly identify what resolution and/or frame rate a game was running at?

Of course you wouldn't.

You need the internet to tell you or you wouldn't dare.

That's why I can't really take resolution moaners seriously.

 

Im getting it day one if the Ea Access wversion works.

As for 720p i new it would be seeing as hardline was meant to be a battlefield 3 DLC so they are prob using the hardware from that.

 

I'm not that excited about this game and all I mainly play online for multiplayer is Battlefield.

 

To all those that say you can't tell the difference between upscaled 1080p and native 1080p, I must respectfully disagree! I have battlefield 4 on both Xbox one and pc, running on the same screen. Xbox version is running at 720p upscaled and my pc is running
at 1080p native, both on the same screen. Let me tell you there is a huge difference. And before you go saying that with the pc you have more antialiasing and stuff of that nature, even with that stuff turned off, it still looks a lot sharper.

To me it matters not. I still enjoy the Xbox version just as much because of the friends I play with. Although in my opinion I was surprised when I seen the news that this wasn't imprived over battlefield 4 which came out over a year ago now. To me this
is lazy on the developers part!

I started home gaming with a 48 k spectrum and jet set willy .

I never got to play the beta because when it was available I was too busy with work. I will however, download it and use my 10 hr trial through EA and make my purchase decision based on that.

 

With 60FPS this game will probably play better in 720p anyways. Isn't it a thing that 720P resolution handles speed much better?

 

Me personally. I don't give a *** if it's 1080p, 100800p, or 108p,

It's a GAME, it's battlefield, and it's gonna be fun as Hell.. Just enjoy it and stop worrying

 

I think res and FPS as a charry on the toppin. It nice to have but not needed to be a fun game. Those kids will not live in the time I started gaming. It was like 200 odd i in the game itself.
