It will be upscaled to 1080p, On my X1 it will be 0p. This isnt because the lack of effort and progress in using new SDK to get the res up, but rather the lack of destruction and the game not offering what i want as a BF fan. Ill be playing something else
instead this year.

 

Plus it will be just a matter of time before it will be a free download via EA access.

 

Ripp.. I am def getting it day one... I kow you like BF games... Ill give you my honest impression... I happened to like it... felt like BC2 in a way to me...

but to the OP... kind of knew it would be 720... but they locked in a solid 60FPS which is WAY more important for a game like this

 

I liked bits off it and liked heist in particular but Dustbowl destruction (or lack of it ) just didn't feel right. I don't even want total destruction but there are plenty of walls ( hotel) and the houses that should be able to ge blown out. At this point
in time it's the first BF I can easily do without. I home share my console with a friend so unless he buys it I can't see myself playing it until it hits the Vault.

 

Even halo 4 for xbox 360 is 720p native. And xbox 360 has only 512mb of slower GDDR3 RAM (DDR2) compared to xbox 1 which has faster DDR3 RAM and 8GB of it. But if its a solid smooth 60fps with detailed textures then its ok. The game is not one Ill be getting
at least not this year.

 

Kinda reeks of laziness in the engine department. The original accusations from the alpha of it simply being a re-skinned BF4 ring true. They haven't optimized the game at all.

I enjoyed the beta but this is only worth a budget price. Certainly NOT £104.99 Ultimate Edition!!! What are they smoking?!!?

Zombie they optimised the game and made the engine run better by turning down the destruction. Thats the way I felt while playing the Beta. I'm just going to stick to bf4 if I need a BF fix. To many good games coming to worry about it.

 

900p only on the competitions console instead of 1080p? (just read title link). I guess we can XD at them it ain't another 1080p game. 720p is HD. But if it's a solid 60fps or good textures, then that's OK. I guess the game devs are taking baby steps. Isn't
Halo MCC and Halo 5 meant to be in 1080p 60fps (then again 343 industries is owned by Microsoft who knows their platform the best since they custom designed Xbox 1's hardware and esram). Even Halo 4 on Xbox 360! is 720p native.

Lofty 104.99 pounds? In NZ, the game's RRP is NZ$114.99. I am not really into this game and don't see myself getting it, at least not this year. Several of my NZ friends even say get it! But I don't want to. I got Screamride for both Xbox 360 and Xbox 1.
Mainly because I love the game made by Frontier who also made Zoo Tycoon for Xbox and since 80% of my friends don't have an Xbox 1. I didn't get the 360 version of Zoo Tycoon because it lacks multiplayer and no Kinect features and smaller zoos due to Xbox
360 hardware limitations. I have the Xbox 1 Edition though and I love it.

Big BF fan, however after playing the Beta i was left disappointed. It just feels like half a BF game. And as for 720p what a F**king joke! Its half a game compared to BF4 that uses the same textures, etc. 720p 720p. Sorry but that isn't good enough for
apparently next gen hardware. After paying £350 for a console then £50 for the basic version of the game (Ie no EA premium, deluxe bulls**t) Its just not good enough for 2015.

I agree with the frame rate comment but resolution does count don't be silly.
