Battlefield: Hardline Single Player Review

£40 for 10 hours of play isnt good value in this day and age, ask anyone who has bought the order!

Well to be honest... if you are buying a battlefield game for the campaign.. you are doing it wrong... everyone knows BF and COD are strictly MP games and having any SP is a bonus. Hell, I know people who are top ranked in BF3, BC2, BF4 and have ZERO time
played in SP

Better option to people on the fence.. buy a month of EA access for $4.99... play the game for 10 hours total. However, you only get 2 episodes in the SP game but will give you an idea on how the game is over all..

well thats good for most gamers but i can assure you im not doing it wrong MP doesnt interest me, SP does, couldnt giva a toss about leaderboards etc.

I will have a go on MP but if you dont even try SP then to me you are doing it wrong.

I can wait for the price to drop before playing this, like i said £20 seems about right to me.

 

I'm in the minority but I'm just not interested in the MP of Battlefield Hardline, to be fair though there's not many online shooters that interest me these days. I did give the Beta a try but got pretty bored pretty quickly.

I had no intentions of buying Hardline, well definitely not on day one but I was lucky and won a copy. Anyway, picked it up this morning and I've played the first 2 levels and I'm just not feeling it.

To me it doesn't feel like a Battlefield game, which may be a good thing to some and may be what the developers intended! So far though I seem to be in a cut scene, walking/sneaking around following someone with not a lot of action, I want to shoot more
people.

It looks good, the controls feel good but at the moment it's just not clicking for me. I totally appreciate it's early days so hopefully as the game goes on I'll get into it more from early impressions all I can say is I'm very pleased I didn't pay anything
for it lol

 

I've just finished Episode 8 ( 2 more Episodes to go ) and for me this is the worst Battlefield campaign I've played in the series. Weird thing is, it's like watching a bad B Movie, sometimes no matter how much it makes you cringe you just have to see it
through until the end.

I like the fact the developers have taken a different route, cops, crooks etc but in my opinion it just doesn't do anything that well. The AI can be very dumb, in fact some of the dumbest I've seen in a game.

Driving sections, well less said about these the better.

Maybe it's just me but fair play if you can get a lot of hours out of the multiplayer but I couldn't recommend anyone go for this title just for the single player.

Mind you, unless the last 2 Episodes do something amazing and totally change my mind then I might have to rethink this post, probably not though
