Battlefield Hardline eSports!?

With the success of CoD esports EA wanted to venture into the world of eSports with BF4. And even though the game started out rather...ugly it had and still does have a healthy competitive community(On Xbox One). But the Devs and EA just seem to care about
ESL and PC esports but not console. So I want to know do you guys think BF:Hardline will make BF a relevant eSports FPS on console? Or will it just be another flop at trying to make a competitive FPS like they did with BF4. Please give me your thoughts down
below.

I don't think it will be a big hit in the eSport world personally.

 

Hardline is gonna tank.....it'd make a fine COD game or RB6 type game....but those aren't Battlefield....mostly large maps mixing aerial, vehicular and infantry combat in large scale battles...that's Battlefield

I have zero interest in hardline. the BF franchise has been in a tail spin since Gordon Van *** left after BFBC2 was released and prior to the Nam expansion. BFBC2 was the last "good" launch in the BF series, Since Gustav Halling took over prior to the Nam
expansion release, BF has been trying to cater to the CoD crowd, and basically crapping all over the franchise. I enjoyed BF because at it's core, it was a completely different game than CoD, but now, under the slave drivers at EA, they are forced toi have
"annual" releases, hobbling the developers ability to produce a quality product, only to compete with the short bus rider of FPS, Call of Duty. CoD has become a parody of itself by reskinning avatars, flipping maps over so they "appear" to be a different design,
and tweaking a seven year old graphics engine. Now EA is embracing the same approach, and BF "Hardline" doesn't even look like a BF game, where are the multi national factions? Mexican cartels don't really count. Hardline shouldn't even have Battlefield in
the title.

The cats involed in esports dont like bf cause its too slow, big maps vehiclesa nd especially destruction, itss till the only game with destruction, really the only reason i still play, those esports dont much like having the map blown out from under them,
interupts their flow

 

@ZombieP1ow I agree with you on that! I am not happy with what Gustav Halling has done with the series.

 

@APOCACIDE I do agree that even the 5v5 Domination and Defuse is slow paced. But I think it makes it even more fun to watch when the floor gets blown out from under players. They have to make split second decisions to stay alive that would be fun to watch.
That is of course the game is completely broken! (Battlefield 4)
