Battlefield Hardline Delayed till 2015

So from feedback from the recent beta, EA have delayed Battlefield Hardline till 2015

EA announced today that Dragon Age Inquisition which was supposed to release October 7 is being pushed back to November 18 in the US and November 21 in the UK. EA also announced Battlefield: Hardline will be pushed out of October, but no new release date
was given.

Battlefield Hardline Delayed Until "Early 2015"

 

I am not surprised at all. But in most cases (with the exception of a few.. *cough Watch_Dogs cough*) delays are a good thing. So I'd be happy to wait a little while longer.

 

The article I linked is from a couple days ago. I just happened across it when I was looking for information about the game. Next time I will make sure to verify the dates of the information in articles to insure that the author is not presenting stale
subject matter to the gaming public. Please accept my sincere apologies. I will make sure to write a strongly worded letter to Gamespot to please not re-relese articles under the guise of "new" or "current" information right after I finish waterboarding
myself for my error of posting this information that is neither located in the Battlefield Hardline forum nor mentioned, in my recent memory, in this forum (although I may have missed it).

 

Either way, Battlefield 4 should have been delayed. I am glad they are taking their time with this. But I will not be getting it due to the fact that they mishandled Battlefield 4, and released it broken

 

I agree. Generally when they are delayed you can assume it is to improve the game and experience. The only exception would be Ubisoft and their unforgivable handling of the Ghost Recon franchise.

 

Oh lord, you are not kidding regarding Ghost Recon. I was extremely disappointed with GR: Future Soldier

 

I still can't get over it. There's a whole generation of gamers who have no idea how awesome a series it was. It was thee console online shooter at one time. The king.

 

It truly was. I think that it may have come down to the success of Assassin's Creed. They have completely deviated from their course after the release of Assassin's Creed in 2007. Since then, we have seen a total of 17 AC games. 11 console and handheld
AC games about to be 13 this holiday season.

To me it is to hard to not believe that they shifted focus since the last solid Ghost Recon game which to me was GRAW and GRAW 2.

 

Oh, and I also had RB6 Patriots paid off at one point lol. Lets not forgot about that series.

 

How do you just "throw in the towel" on two huge franchises like that???? Frustrating.

 

I have no idea. I prefer 3rd person tactical shooters over the run and gun FPS like CoD. As far as RB: Patriots, I too had it pre-ordered. But that was shifted to Rainbow Six: Siege

 

Shut up, both of you. Ghost Recon FS was NOT a thing. It was a bad dream we all had at the same time, got it?
