Battlefield Bad Company 2

I'm currently downloading this (im in the uk) am I right in saying you can't play it online?

 

No you need to download the seperate VIP pass which is free you just need to download it

 

I can´t get Battlefield and also happened with Halo. The games before was ok. I live in Portugal.It´s sad.

 

yeah but is the account set to that and is the console from that region if not then you will not be able to download any region locked games

 

So I'm a gold member,I couldn't get Halo:Reach last month because it said "This item isn't available from your current location." Thought it might be because i already had it. I then wanted to download Battlefield: Bad Company 2 this month,but guess what?"This
item isn't available from your current location." i was able to download games before. I am in sweden.And yes i have switched my location. Repeating your answers without actual detail is not actually helpful.

What do you mean switched your location? Do mean changing the location on your console? If so, that's not what we mean.

Your region (country) that your gamertag is set to must match the region (country) that you physically live in.

This means that because you live in Sweden your gamertag must be set to Sweden as well. If it is set for another country (eg. US) then you must change the region of your gamertag using the steps at the link below to match.

International laws decide on what content is restricted

Halo for religious content

blackops for torture and violence etc every country has different laws on what can be in a game so the restricted games are localized to make sure the content matched the content laws per country

 

i have the same region download problem, i then tried to downlad it trough xbox.com, it allowed me but when it reached 70 or so % the download canceled and said that the file was corrupt, any help on that please :c

 

There is no way to bypass the region issue. If your gamertag is not set up for the same region (country) that you live in and it says it cannot download it there is nothing you can do to change that save migrating your tag to your proper country.

 

is there any way we can get the games we missed? it was working for months and only did not work for Halo Reach and Battlefield 2BC.

I dont want to migrate as there seems to be a problem with what language the console switches too( i have found a workaround but missed the games.

SR# [Mod removed] contains a conversation with support today regarding this issue and another so please read thru.

This has been answered awhile now there is no way to get content a after they are no lolonger available on the games for gold

your account region should always reflect your actual region

What do you mean wrong language?

Content will always be in the nationally supported language of your region not your console

Just like your street signs and laws and nationally spoken language

Don't you get out ?

Every country you goto you have to adapt to your enviroment

 

Actually you aren't allowed to post Sr numbers and it won't help you as long as you don't follow the rules

Your asccount region has to refllect your actual region

it is also a security concern as it would have your private info anyone can call up and say the number and get your full name

If you want content your account region has to match your actual region as per the terms of use and international laws
