Battlefield Bad company 2, Region Locked.

Because content laws are different for every region

What is allowed in us may not be allowed in UK or Slovenia

Pretty sure they have content laws

Every nation has laws on content including levels of violence language even torture and subject matters

You don't decide the laws of the land your congressman does

 

Region locks so each game complies to the region's local laws and distribution rights

You cannot ignore international laws

 

same problem in Ksa i hate live in this country cuz not only free games with gold but everything is restricted

 

Ummm ksa is a Xbox live country

You shouldn't have issues with region locks unless you have an out of region account which then you should match your account region

 

Why they put Free with Gold? When I'm trying to get a free game for gold, I don't want to see this error "this item is not available..." I want to see "This item is available for this regions : US.UK..etc" oh and my neighbour have xbox one and he has no
restriction. Why???????? He is in the same country with me and on xbox 360 he has restrictions, but on xbox one he hasn't..This is completely bullsh**.Microsoft is playing with us and you guys [Moderator removed: Profanity].

 

your neighbour may be using incorrect information to access live services with his xbox one as there is no region locking 360 but enabling one. excsessively abusing marketplace like that may lead to enforcement actions for him.

 

If we can buy Bad company 2 in our stores in Slovenia then its not region locked but when a good game is free and it has multiplayer then microsoft doesnt want us to get it even if we pay for gold. The free games is the only reason why i pay for gold. i
will buy ps3

 

They can't as you don't live in an Xbox live country

Regional locks are lawfully enforced

You will just have to buy the disk copies

Region locks is not a pick and choose thing you will have to wait till you are an Xbox live country

 

@ngocphi We pay gold as much you pay to.But we don't have rights, that's the problem, and now you saying to buy cd copies ? we need to have rights to. On Xbox one we have but in 360 we don't. [Moderator removed: Abusive].
