BattleField: Bad Company 2 error message.

So I downloaded the game off the dashboard from having gold.

Failed to load DLL "GAME:/splash.****"

I've tried every suggestion or process I could think of. I tried redownloading about 4 times. I tried clearing the cache, tried deleting the update and so on.... I downloaded this from the dashboard for the free games thing and searched every
where and can't find anything to help me. and before you start assuming I don't mod. have had this account for too long to try and screw myself now. I just want to play this game.

Reason for BF BC2 isn't working

On my hard drive I have the following files for BF:BC2:

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Title Update -14MB

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Update - 283MB

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Update #2 - 468MB

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Update #3 - 1.7GB

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Title Update #6 - 14MB

Battlefield Bad Company 2 LE Title Update #6 - 14MB

Dunno which ones are necessary but those are what I have.

I assume you mean Battlefield Bad Company 2? There shouldn't be any problem with Battlefield. You can send your issue over to my friends at Answer HQ and they might have a solution.

do you any failed downloads on your HDD? BFBC2 with a yellow exclamation sign?

 

I just DL'd and didn't have any problems. I did have to delete my previous Onslaught DL and re-download it in order for the game to pick it up.

Forgot how much I miss this game!

Very nice. I played a little Onslaught last night just to get the feel for it BC2 again.
