    I had purchased this game on May 23 of 2018 and it went through just fine but until this month. The purchase said it was declined even though it's downloaded into my Xbox one, please help.

    How we, the gamers should respond to all these games being released broken:

    For whatever reason haven't noticed any decline in quality on recently released last gen games. Just started Battlefield Hardline on the 360 and haven't had a problem yet. Actually the game is incredibly solid and addicting. The real decline in quality seems to have started with the Xbox One and PS4 games.

    Order No.629584923452632 for a $5 Xbox digital code was declined. I spent 4,650 rewards points, and my order was declined. I did not receive a $5 code (as the order status is declined) but my 4,650 points have been taken. I do not know why the order was
    declined, I would really appreciate a new code though before the Star Wars sale ends. You're giving me money, but you're missing out on some of my money I will be adding to it to spend if I ever get the code I earned.

    Thanks for reaching out!I'm sorry to hear about the current issue with a pre-order being declined. When setting up a pre-order you don't get charged right away you just save the payment method where the game will charge
    too. You will be charged around 10 days before the game actually launches.

    Also, if you would like to verify whether the original purchase was successful:



    In a web browser, sign in to your Microsoft account.



    Select Payment & billing, and then select
    Order history
    to view your purchase history.



    If your original purchase was successful, the transaction will be listed as "Completed."

  5. Basically what happens when you place a pre order is this:

    1. If it was done with a credit or Debit card they will not be charged till approximately 10 days prior to the game being released.

    2. If it was done with xbox gift cards/Microsoft account balance then it would be taken from that balance immediately.

    If it was done with a credit/debit card it will allow you to predownload the game to be ready to play at launch but if for some reason the card is declined when they try and charge it then they will cancel the order and take the license away from your account
    and take the ability to play the game. The game will still be downloaded to your console (no way for them to go in and remove the game itself) they just take the license (ability) to play the game away.

    What you want to do is this.

    1. Look at your bank statements from when you pre-ordered the game and see if they did take money out if they did then:

    2. Sign into your account at commerce.microsoft.com this will show you your order history and whether the orders were completed, cancelled, refunded. and match up the charges on your bank account with the charges in your order history.

    If none of them match up for the battlefield game and it shows cancelled on the MS site then at this point you would need to purchase the game if you want to play it.
