Battlefield 4

I have not played BF4 for about a month.

I thought I would jump in and see if things have been improved since the last time i played.

But when the game boots up to the menu, where you select to play multiplayer or go into premium, nothing happens, it is like the game is frozen. I restarted the console, still nothing, so played another game and all was ok. Tried BF4 again and nothing.

Anyone else having any issues ?

Even though you say it's frozen, you mean you have to restart because you can't even get back to main menu and select SP?

I've not played MP for quite a while but I had it on occasions where I would select to play MP and it wouldn't do anything, tried and tried and nothing but I could still back out and start SP, it was just the MP that seemed totally borked.

I hear this game is a lot better now ( MP ) but as you say other games are working fine I'd guess that it's the game itself, if it keeps happening and as you said you've tried resetting console maybe delete it and re-install to see if that solves it.

The game's been fine for ages.

 

Try deleting all the updates and redownload the latest one only, you only need the latest one.

 

Thanks for the info guys, it wouldn't allow me to select anything, it got to the screen where I could of selected multiplayer or single player or premium, but nothing. I will try and delete the updates and if that doesn't work, then remove and reinstall
it.

Great news that the game is working fine.

 

Can anyone tell me how you uninstall game updates, as I can see the DLC and the game, but not the updates.

I have an Xbox One.

Regarding deleting games from xboxone, this should help.. CLICK

 

Start from Home (press the Xbox button on your controller to go Home).

Go to My games and apps.

Highlight the content that you want to uninstall.

Press the Menu button on your controller.

Select Uninstall.
