Battlefield 4 Update cannot be found or started

I am trying to update Bf4 and It gives me a message saying "Requires Update- Before it can start,Battlefield 4 needs and update.Update now? (0x8015dc02)". When I press Install it takes me to the games page in the marketplace and it only says Play,Pin to
home and rate as the options. There is no update. I cannot start the game as it just keeps running me in this loop. I have restarted the system by holding the power button and that had no effect. I also unplugged the system from the power source and still
no effect. How do I fix this? Any help would be appreciated.

Battlefield 4 has multiple issues being experienced by many users. A update is being released sometime this month that will address everything.

I cannot play Fallout 4 or Battlefield 4, due to the titled issues. I've restarted, tried the holding the disc for a second before letting it go in, and unplugging from the wall. I believe this issue stems from the latest UI / homescreen update.

 

I am currently having the exact same issue, but with Forza Motorsport 5. I tried the same steps to resolve it and had no luck.

Yea sadly. Its seems like its more of a pain than anything else.

 

FYI Just tried forza 5 and im getting the same problem.

 

same went to play bf4 when i got home from work and its given me the same error code u posted "0x8015dc02"

 

I think Battlefield 4 was undergoing maintenance earlier today. This could be it?

 

i got it to work by uninstalled the games, then reinstalling them while the xbox was not connected to the internet, reconnected the internet after it was installed and then downloaded the updates

 

Even Titanfall is doing the same thing for me.. My first good night off and I can't even play none of my games..

 

I guess ill try to reinstall Forza and see if it works. Bf4 will take a long time with the dlc packs and such. Hopefully this works. Thanks for the idea buzzboy. I still hope i can get an response from a mod or someone.

Same on cod ghosts, also in beta. 1 day off and this happens haha. 2nd beta rollout to prevent me playing games.

 

No issues with BF4 for me, but is happening with Forza 5. Maybe something to do with DLC? I dont have any BF4 DLC but have Forza Season Pass... Might try AC4, if that doesnt work, im blaming DLC's
