Battlefield 4 "Taking too long to start"

I recently obtained the Xbox One S and downloaded Battlefield 4 (BF4). I bought the game on the original Xbox One console and it would load everything and play just fine, no issues. After downloading on the new Xbox, BF4 does not load and gives me the
error code: 0x8027025a). I still have the other Xbox and BF4 will now not load on it either. I have searched online and haven't found any solutions. The following are methods I have tried:

1. Cannot "quit" the game because the game fails to run in the first place.

2. Clear the cache ("Power cycle the Xbox")

3. Uninstalled game, cleared caches, reinstalled game, clear cache.

4. Tried starting the game in offline mode/signed out of profile.

All methods have failed to work. All my other games load without issue, my internet connection is fine, and nothing on the BF4 Forums would indicate there is a current issue of others loading the game (I do see there were past issues, though).

Are there any methods that I haven't tried that might work?

Taking too long to start

I keep getting an error message

Whatever I select it doesn’t load and then I get a message stating “......is taking too long to load”

Around the same time a message stating

German is available for Fortnite message started to pop up

I have tired re booting, re starting, clearing cache and game data, and checking all my settings. My network connection is fine but it still keeps happening

Help please!

Hi there,

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:
Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

If that doesn't do anything then please try a factory reset (with keeping games and apps installed) via the steps mentioned here:

Reset Xbox One Console to Factory Defaults

If neither power cycling nor uninstalling/reinstalling have worked, the next thing I would recommend trying is uninstalling the game and then

factory resetting your Xbox One console to see if that helps. You can keep your games and apps when you do this so don't worry about that.
