Battlefield 4 "Premium" Transfer Offer expired before XO gets available?

Hi! According to the source hereunder, Battlefield 4 "Premium" cannot be transferred to Xbox One for free since 7/31/2014. However, there are countries where Xbox One isn't on sale yet (such as in Belgium, where I reside); meaning that the offer expired
BEFORE the console is even available to players who bought that "transfer" feature.

This looks like a steal: we bought a pricey item on 360 with the promise of a free move to the new platform. And because Microsoft decided to release this platform on 9/2014, we'll be forced to buy the same pricey item once again. Doesn't sound fair/right
to me...

Is there any hope that Microsoft updates the Marketplace to extend the transfer period of this "Premium" item (even limited to these countries)?

I'm trying to buy Battlefield 4 Premium, I redeemed a code for $50.00, Battlefield 4 Premium cost 49.99. And it says "There isn't enough in your account, possibly because of estimated tax..." Can anyone help me please?

@ Der Verteidiger Exactly, this is what the Battlefield Premium is all about: An offer to save some money for those who love the game and those who will get the expansions anyway. It's a good deal.

 

This is a tough question and, unfortunately, not one that anyone on the forums here can answer. What I would recommend is either post a thread about this on the Feedback Forums

Frankly, I've been trying to contact the support using the Chat feature for a couple of days, but this just doesn't work.

Eventually, I'll give the phone method a try, and report about their answer here.

 

FYI. Together with the Support we commonly agreed on a solution.

Some advices for the other people facing the same issue:

- Be fair and polite with the person(s) you are talking to

- Be smart when they try to decline the responsibility with the limited offer
