TITAN FALL NOT WORKING

That's what happens when they use MS servers instead of their own. Hopefully EA continues this trend so we don't get another Battlefield 4 launch.

 

See, this is what I don't get of gamers.

They get ticked off at EA (voted the worst company in America), and yet they still line up to buy their titles as though everything the company did was somehow lost in time.

Here's some advice: STOP. LISTENING. TO. EA. AND. BUY. THEIR. GAMES. USED.

This is the only way they'll change, by affecting their wallet.

 

I kow BF had tons of problems... but nothing really happened top me that was a game breaker that made me turn it off.... as I knew the issues they had.. 5 platforms... all different.. 2 new...1 with voice commands and then throw in all the different tablet
apps.. then have it all linked to Battlelog.... all that is a recipe for disaster...

at least with TF...only 3 platforms... all with similar achs.... using MS servers..and not being RUSHED... do I expect some WTF? yup.. always do with new games... and hopefully Respawn works as fast as DICE when it comes to it...and chances are they will..
and probably faster,,,

 

EA are just the publisher it is a Respawn game and they are not using EA servers they are using MS servers which have been used in Forza already and from feedback of that I hear they are preforming great. Personally I don't expect much if any problems with
Titanfall.

 

When was the last game published by EA that didnt have launch problems??

The only one issue I've had with Forza 5 is once me and 3 friends tried to join an online game and for whatever reason it put 2 of us in one game, the other 2 in another lol, other than that I've had no issues at all with this game online.

Any game EA are involved with these days makes me nervous, they haven't been voted the worst company on several occasions for no reason but as you and others have said, thankfully Titanfall isn't running on EA's own servers.

 

What gamers need to do is stop PRE-ORDERING.....instead, wait for reviews, (and check out forums where the pre-order suckers visit), look for articles on gaming sites the week after release that mention all the issues people are having, watch said sites
for patches....then make informed decisions before buying. I used this approach for BF4 and feel all the better for it...sure, I could have been one of the lucky ones not affected. Or, I could be one of the SOB's with nothing but problems (which seemed to
be many). Either way, EA did not get my money....the best way to "tell" developers/publishers to produce good games is with your wallet, use that power wisely....don't be weak!

[/quote] Completely agree most of their launches are disgraceful I mean BF4 was a disgrace. Have a feeling with Titanfall that it is going to be different mainly because it is not running on EA servers. I hope to god I am right but with EA you never know.

 

There won't be any issues at all, because Microsoft are taking care of the server side of things and that is where they excel, plus I think the success or failure of titanfall is vital for the momentum of xboxone I know it's pivotal for me as to whether
I get one or not but I am someone who waits for the whole picture before buying anything

I'm pretty confident we won't see the problems BF4 had with Titanfall. Sure I expect a few teething issues, all games suffer from a few problems especially on release but again it's not running on EA servers so that's a good start right there lol

 

THANK GOD - Attempting to play BF4 at launch was terrible.... frankly, I don't really play it anymore due to the issues that the game has/had.

 

Any game that uses MS dedicated servers are gonna have a great online experience. Just wish most of the launch games would of done this but its early more games will use em in the future!

 

Well, EA is crap. If People would smarten up and stop paying for half-finished/half-a**ed products, We'd most likely be seeing better quality games right now. I'll waiting to see how Titanfall turns out, first.
