Battlefield 4 July 9th Patch Update

@ GG Gateway, the game in its current form is no worse in terms of what's wrong with it than any other game on the market.

Sorry GG, but, yes it is, it has been losing my campaign saves from day one, no other game has been losing load outs for countless players, I don't have to list the other problems do I ? There has been one patch after another and it is still broken, I'll
be fair and say it's not unplayable, I do play it, but it is broken.

 

Loosing campaign saves is a big deal for me. I'm not a great player so it takes me several attempts to complete a level. I feel like I'm wasting my time playing this game only to have my progress go away.

 

I am glad they are still working on it. Game needed more time and was pushed out to early. I had this for a while and it was mostly fixed when I played it. I never had any issues to speak of. I could see this game lasting a while too. This game just
fills a different roll than a lot of FPS games do. Feels more like a battle than others to me.

 

the campaign was poop anyway - by far the best MP shooter out there even with all its flaws

 

I'm with iBakez on this one. I held that view even at the very worst of the rubberbanding/lag - 'broken' it was still the best MP shooter by a long way. I played BF3 on 360 for hundreds of hours, the instant I played 60FPS and 64 player servers I was SOLD.

I may be a bit biased as im a BF vet 8 (i think or it maybe 7) but this still blows everything else out of the water, sky or road

 

Since the last update I am getting a ton of black screens when quitting after a game ends. Getting killed around corners more and more looks like it has returned. Don't get me wrong I really like BF4, but the amount of bugs this game has is just pathetic
and 8 months after release it's still not even close to being fixed.

 

I haven't experienced any black screens for a while, Mogwai... Getting killed around corners though, that's still an issue unfortunately.

 

I keep getting stuck in the kill cam.

 

@GG, I had the black screen every once in awhile, but since the last patch I bet I had it at least 2 dozen times this weekend.

As touchy as the kill-cam is (bouncing around, showing inaccurate life totals that don't update in real time, and having people seemingly kill you around corners and through solid walls), I'm surprised there isn't a game setting to show the hardcore death-cam
instead where you just see yourself fall over dead in 1st-person. It's much simpler, less confusing, looks cooler, and is more realistic. If I could, I'd always have it set that way...

 

I have had several lost connection to EA in the last couple of days, that last update seems to have reversed a few things.

 

I haven't checked in for a while here. I am shocked to hear that the Campaign save losses are still going on 9 months after release! I gave up trying the campaign after I lost my save SIX TIMES way back in January. It is unforgivable that a game is out this
long and it is nearly impossible to complete the single player experience due to saves being erased. I am a player who likes to complete the campaign before doing multiplayer too, so this was really bad.

 

I still haven't witnessed the campaign save issue for myself. I played through half the game in 1 sitting, and then played through the 2nd half during a 2nd sitting a week later and beat the game with no problems whatsoever in between.

 

played this yesterday and it ran like a dream. Dragons teeth is the best DLC for maps theyve released but the Deagle is OP
