Battlefield 4 going back to home screen during campaign??

I know Battlefield 4 has lots of online problems, but I'm experiencing something just related to single player campaign mode - I played and cleared a board, and in the middle of another battle it froze and took me back to the home screen ... This happening
to anyone else? Thanks!

Xbox one keeps going to home screen on its own from battlefield 4

My Xbox One keeps going to the home screen on its own when I'm trying to play battlefield 4. It stops the game.

 

OS is the issue for Home crashing?

It's probably not the OS. I don't have battlefield and have never crashed the home screen during gameplay. Battlefield crashes on all platforms ATM.

 

Hey there Eric! Let's see what we can do to get things sorted.

To start off, let's give a clean power cycle to the console. To do that:

• Press and hold the power button on the console for 5-10 seconds until it powers off completely.
  
• Unplug the console from the power outlet for 3 minutes, then plug it back in.
  
• Power the console on again and try playing the BF4 campaign.

I've had this problem with Battlefield 4 and other games ( single player and multiplayer )

I've tried the ^above advice, sometimes it works ok for a few days, then it starts again. I took the advice of another gamer and turned off Kinect in the settings, it was ok for about 4 days, now it's started dashboarding again and each time I try the above
steps.

Wherever you read people are reporting this issue, Battlefield 4 seems to be the worst but I believe it's to do with the console/OS itself and hopefully Microsoft are aware of it and working on a fix because as much as I love the Xbox One it is starting to
ruin my experience at the moment.

 

Hey Lofty can I ask why you think its a problem with the OS? Wouldnt this be more of an issue that EA should handle since its their game that is dropping back? I assume you have more than just BF4, is this an issue you are having with other games as well?

yes i contact microsoft a lot of time about this issue.

FIrst Fix: put your console in english with USA as location

Second fix: press the start button at the same time of the power button keep it for 10-15 second.

xbox will restart or close then restart and it should work.

the first fix resolve all my problem

try this buddy it will work fine.

I am confident, after having this happen to all but every game so far at random intervals, that this is an OS glitch.

Not bashing the system, I am confident they will fix this in an update soon as they learn what is happening to crash the system.

 

It could be the OS, if the last update that was received had a corrupt file in it. Try downloading the latest update for your xbox one again and applying it manually: Browse to support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool

And, is this a digital version of the game or is was it installed from physical media?
