Battlefield 4 DLC

Just picked up the game, which DLC is worth it? I've heard a lot of people say naval strike and dragons teeth.

Good to know! This is an obvious Day 1 purchase for along with Call of Duty, Dead Rising 3, and Watchdogs. I'll be sure to pick up a Premium subscription as well so I can access weekly DLC and all map packs 2 weeks early. It's a great time to be a gamer and November cannot get here quick enough!

You don't really need any DLC as all Official Game Modes and Maps only go through those Modes and Maps that match to either the DLC or no DLC. In short, you can play default Conquest/ Rush Maps as long as you like.

As for if you wanted to purchase any DLC I would say just get the Premium and get all the DLC/ Maps/ Game Modes. It will be well worth the price of each individually. Some Game Modes/ Maps are starting to shrink a little depending on the time of day you might
play. For example, fining a Naval Strike Map during the night by next to impossible as the Servers simply don't show up.

Over all, they are all fun in their own way. I would suggest if you are into it and you want to try the DLC's don't pick one over the other. Just get Premium and play them all.

 

Didnt they just open up the ultimate BF with all the DLCs released? I thought I seen it in the store last night

 

IMO the only reason to get any DLC is getting access to the new weapons. Other than that I'll take the vanilla maps any day over DLC maps.

 

I've always found the battlefield DLC maps to be of a very high quality and as good, if not better than the standard maps that come with the game.

This is one game that is worth getting the premium pack for.

 

battlefields map packs are great - i enjoyed them all bar china rising. Naval stike and Dragons tetth were great additions (haven't played final stand yet)

 

Dragon's Teeth is the best.

 

My biggest problem is I like and dislike maps from each DLC. Can't stand metro and caspian (like the old caspian) but I love firestorm and Oman. I find it's like that with all the DLC. I only like one map in China rising, two in naval strike. I'd say dragons
teeth is the best though I havnt had a chance to play final stand yet but I hear it's quite good as well.

 

They have BF4 Premium for sale for $30, really good deal for those who were thinking of getting it.

 

what sort of player are you? Some maps cater towards infantry players while others cater towards vehicle combat

 

Final Stand are the best maps made for BF4 yet. Closely followed by Naval Strike.

Can't agree. I think many of the dragons teeth maps are very bad. Propaganda is the only Gem.
