Battlefield 4 Connection Problems - Lag - Icons on right side of screen but good Xbox One ...

Hi,

I have all of a sudden started experiencing a bad connection when playing BF4 MP. I used to get all bars on most servers when I would search rush mp servers and now I never get any servers with a full connection. I thought it was my internet connection
so I had my provider come out and troubleshoot and everything is good on that end. Here are some notes that may be useful as I have tried a bunch of things to fix it:

1. Detailed Network Settings

- Download Speed 35+ Mbps

-Upload Speed 5.46 Mbps

-Packet Loss - 0%

- MTU 1450+

-Latency 84ms

2. When I check server connection within a game of BF4 connection is high and similar results as stated above, with latency below 70.

3. I have done power cycle, check cords, tried wireless vs wired, test connection and mp connection with always good results, etc.

4. Now I get serious and continuous lag with those icons on the right hand side of the screen during a game which signals connection issues but when I check my Xbox One network connection and my in-game BF4 connection they are always high, as stated
above.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Xbox One X Connection issues

Go to your Xbox network settings. What does your "NAT Type" show?

Also try running the tests on the right side of the screen (Test network connection, Test multiplayer connection, Test NAT Type, Detailed network statistics), and see if those tests show any problems with your network.

Typically the issue you're experiencing is caused by a network or caching issue. I know you said that you don't think it's being caused by a network issue, however that's the leading cause so we'd like to make sure.

To test your network connection you can follow these steps:

First, test your Xbox Live connection to see if this is a network issue:

Press the Menu button on the Xbox One controller.

Select Settings.

Select Network.

On the Network Settings screen, select Test network connection on the right side of the screen.

If you see the It’s all good screen after running the test, the connection test was successful.
